Posted by Georgiana,

The kids and I have been getting together once a week to teach each other new tricks.  We are really getting into cards, and card tricks in general.  However, this week we found this website that has the perfect magic tricks.  They are good for young aged kids, and older kids alike.  I was even blown away at how good some of these tricks are.  I am getting to the point where I can even figure out how to make up my own tricks because I have learned so many great magic principles in these tricks that we found online.

I’ve enjoyed taking part in magic tricks for many years. There’s lots of free tricks online now, the internet has certainly opened up the opportunities for anyone who is seriously interested in becoming a magician. Trying these simple magic tricks will be a test for your stamina and perseverance. Perfect them so no one can work out how it’s done and you’ll soon be on your way to becoming a magician.

Last spring we went to see a magic show at my son’s school. The magician was dressed up as a clown and he managed to involve many of the kids in each of the tricks he performed. It was a real pleasure to see my son taking part in the show and seeing him learning so much and being treated like an adult by the magician. Great experience!

If you watch YouTube you can see so many great magic tricks being performed. I can spend hours just looking at these videos. I never cease to be amazed at how simple the magicians make their tricks appear. I suppose it’s like most jobs, you have to put in the hours learning the skills if you want to be any good.

I like watching these great magician’s on TV like David Copperfield and Uri Geller. They are amazing to watch as they display so much confidence and belief in the way they perform. Kids can learn so much about building self-confidence and leadership simply from watching these great magicians.

I really enjoy practicing and performing magic tricks. It’s amazing the response you get from people when they see you performing. All you have to do is pick up a deck of cards and do a few simple card tricks and all sorts of people gather round watching and smiling at what you’re doing. Learn a few and you’ll quickly find out what I mean.

I found lots of website online where you can get some really great free magic tricks. Most of the simple tricks using coins or simple props like bottles and elastic bands can be found on sites like Ehow. All you need is a bit of time to practice and then you can surprise your friends with your new found skills.

My dad was great with magic tricks. He used to delight in making things disappear right in front of our eyes and then appear again in a completely different place. I’ve not got his skill, but maybe reading your post I might just have a look online and find one or two tricks I can practise and show to my kids.

The kids just love taking part in magic tricks. There’s something about the innocence of kids that makes them so gullible and yet so true at the same time. As they are learning they look at all these tricks in wonder believing what they are seeing is really happening. Make sure you take the time to enjoy this special experience with your kids.
