Kent firm Tenrag charter yachts, from Canterbury, is one of very few companies offering a worldwide yacht management package and manager director Roger Garnett says: ‘We’ve been in the business for about 10 years and we reckon that a company can expect about 110 to 150 days’ charter per season, while still allowing time for its own use.’Although sales have tailed off over the last 12 to 18 months, there is still growing optimism for the future. Garnett says: ‘We are slightly down on orders, but interest and inquires for next year has been very good. In the present economic climate I think we could have expected things to have been worse than they are.’
