Once you get the hang of layaway programs, they are really easy to use and you can take advantage of some great sales that you would otherwise not be able to do without a credit card. Sears and Kmart have layaway programs and a lot of jewelry stores offer some type of jewelry store layaway. It’s nice that you can get what you need with layaway, but its also nice to know that on occasion you can watch you budget and get your wife something nice for Christmas. After the last few years, she really deserves a lot more than I can give her .
