Importance of safety glasses
There has been a rise in the number of injuries at workplace, and many of those injuries are eye-related. In USA alone, around $300 million are spent each year on medical and labor expenses due to injuries. Eye injuries can be prevented easily with good safety glasses. The people who work at factories should definitely wear these glasses to prevent flying particles, chemicals, or sparks from entering their eyes.
If you do not wear safety glasses, or if you wear wrong type of safety glasses, your eyes are prone to hazardous substances. Eyes are precious, and thus safety glasses are very important.
