The history of Homes For Sale In Birmingham MI goes back a long way. Here is a cool story. Without a suitable property survey, John W. incorrectly constructed his log house on the area later bought by Elijah Willets. That home was later populated by William Hall, a son-in-law of Elisha Hunter, while John W. Hunter constructed an additional log home ten or twenty yards towards the south east. On September 25, 1821, Elijah Willets created a property entry for the south west 1/4 of area 25. 2 days after, Major John Hamilton made an entry for that south east 1/4 of segment 25. Each one of these original property entries fulfilled at what is today the junction of Maple Road and Pierce Street.
