Wood blends in very well in the garden and adds a natural touch. The huge range of finishes you can apply means you can color co-ordinate wood garden accessories with your pansies if you so wish!
If you love planter boxes, perhaps in preference to pots and tubs, the wood is a great choice. You can seed these up with wild flowers, grow lettuce or colorful annuals, or even bay, lemon or buxus. Almost anything can be grown in your spacious wooden planter boxes that you desire. Some come with wheels for easy movement. If you are disabled these can be a real bonus as they bring the garden to you.
