The city I live in has one of the coldest winters in the region. Most of our evenings are spent indoors, close to the living room fireplace. This can get really gloomy at times, as staying indoors for long periods is the perfect recipe for seasonal depression. Last winter I decided to build an outdoor fireplace in our backyard so that we could spend some time of the evening outside.
