In todays environmentally conscious society, many home owners are opting to go with bamboo kitchen cabinets for their new kitchen remodeling project. One of the advantages of bamboo kitchen cabinets is, unlike hardwoods that can take up to fifteen years to grow, bamboo is a grass that grows fast, up to a foot a day, and can be harvested within six to eight weeks. Not only are they a wise eco-friendly choice with very little impact on the environment, they are also very attractive and come in a range of colors from yellow, light green, dark green, black and gray.
Bamboo is one of the best sustainable natural products to use these days. It grows fast and has very little or no effect on the environment which is a great thing. I used it on my new kitchen cabinets recently and it turned out beautiful. I have to have the floors in my house redone and I\’m going with bamboo floors as well. It will set everything off just right when it\’s done.
