My father-in-law is a real handy man. In fact, he put in his own fireplace from square zero. It is contemporary in that it has an Electric Fireplace Heater Insert. Boy, we roast when he turns that on because it also has a blower. It gives off more heat than those electric portable heaters that you can purchase. We love going over there in the winter because we love seeing them, but also because it is nice and toasty. We almost feel like we are in a warm cabin tucked away in the woods somewhere. It sure is a nice getaway!
