Vermicomposting uses earthworms and organic waste to create a rich, healthy, organic compost. Many people who use this method will add wet (organic) kitchen waste, boxes, and even newspapers to their compost. This gives them a wonderful, organic supply of composted soil for their gardens, and it also has the potential to reduce upto 1/3 of their trash removal needs.
