If you are one of those lucky enough people to not need eyeglasses, consider varying your style with non-prescription eyeglasses. Why wear these glasses? Who are the ones who started this trend? The honest fact is that eyeglasses and Hollywood have a lot in common. Who can forget the academic look of Matt Damon in the movie ‘The Talented Mr. Ripley’? Many rock and rap stars with their trendy eyeglasses produce a desire for fashionable frames in many a youth. The nerdy look has been in existence since the last decade. Celebs have tried to vary their style by wearing unique eyewear throughout different points of time in their career. To be honest, anyone can look fabulous in these non prescription glasses.
Where to get them? First try any frames shop. If the trial lenses are not real enough for your taste, get them filed with glass lenses with no prescription in them. If real frames are above your budget, Amazon carries them for very cheap.
For fun, enjoyment, and fashion variety, try getting yourself a pair or two of non prescription frames!
Does this mean presciption glasses are hip also? I just got my first pair and I am not used to the look at all. I wish I could be like all you people who just wear glsses for fun when you feel like it. Luckies!
Non prescription glasses are a great opportunity for kids who want to fit in socially. Glasses (certain kinds) are considered cool and this way like one of you other ppl pointed out, kids don’t need to fake anymore that they need glasses.
I wear non prescription glasses all the time! I wish they weren’t so hard to find. My friend says that glasses will be passe soon because everyone will be having corrective surgery. I will be sad because I look much better with glasses than without. I dont agree with the comment that its stupid and fashion is so weird. WHy not enjoy wearing frames even though you dont need it for seeing better.
Why would anyone wnt to waste their time looking for fake glasses? Just be grateful you dont need glasses and move on! Gosh, fashion has gotten really weird these days. Anythings better than platform shoes and those dumb boots, though, i guess.
Are the Claires glasses cheaper than at Amazon? I went into claires and did not see any glasses there but maybe I can find them at Claires online? My daughter wants all of her friends to think she wears glasses. I guess it’s cool or something. Thanks for any suggestions!
OMG my whole life Ive wanted glasses and I was really glad when Claires came out with those fake glasses that are so real looking! Everyone in my class was asking me when I got glasses, but it was my little secret! Now kids dont have to fake anymore when going to the eye doctor. Lol!
