The official bullion gold coin of Canada is the Canadian Maple Leaf Gold Coin and have always wanted purchase one. While I could have ordered one via the Internet, I was a little leery about making that type of purchase online. Recently a good friend of mine went to Canada on a business trip, so I had asked her if she would mind purchasing one for me if I gave her the money upfront. I had her purchase one that had a face value of $50 US dollars. Upon her return, she gave it to me and I immediately put it on display with my other gold coins.
