Today, I have decided that I am going to take more interest in my daughter’s music class.  She has been telling me that they are currently learning about the Best Acoustic Guitar Songs from the 1970s.  I am very interested in that because I grew up listening to that music and I was curious about her thoughts on it.  To my surprise she was very fond of the this music and feels that music of today doesn’t compare to it.  I look forward to seeing what else they are going to learn about once they are done with this time period.

I have been sitting here for weeks now trying to listen with some cheap old headphones that are literally falling apart. The sound’s okay but they are so tatty I feel embarrassed even when I’m on my own. I would love to get some expensive professional ear phones but that’s not on at the moment. But I’ve been looking at the Sennheiser HD 202 headphones and they get lots of good reviews at Amazon and are quite cheap. I think for now they seem the best bet, but I will carry on day dreaming about the professional headphones. Why not?
