There is no doubt in 2011 that many will find incredible deals on cruises.  The economy is still down and Cruise Ships are scrambling to fill their cabins before they depart. It is no different for those Texans who wish to travel to the Caribbean to enjoy its beaches and warm, tropical weather.  Cruises from Galveston, supports two major Cruise companies, they are Carnival Cruise Lines and Royal Caribbean.  Both are noted for its low fares and quality of entertainment, amenities, food, and their exciting itineraries. Carnival Cruise Lines are known to be the party ship.  They have cleaned up their image over the last decade to attract all kinds of vacationers.  Royal Caribbean is known for its overall quality and has dominated its market share for years.  They also have been given top awards for its kids club, so parents you can enjoy some time alone!

We really have to watch out budget this year so we are hunting for inexpensive vacation spots. We really don’t want to do a “staycation” and next year will probably put a vacation on layaway, but this year we may just go to a hotel for a couple of nights and let the kids swim and maybe even order room service. I have been doing a lot of research on the internet and there is a lot of information available. There are a lot of sales going on right now on hotel and some even offer free dinner. Now that’s a good deal!
