The awning on our camper needed replacing. We bought a new Dometic awning and thought we would save some money by doing it ourselves.

The whole job went very smooth and we were pleased with ourselves. Later we were out camping and a very bad storm came in. We got the awning rolled up in time and retrieved into the camper. The next thing we noticed were several streams of water rolling down the walls.

The storm was pretty bad, but what we forgot to do, was seal up the screws on our awning rail when we put the new awning on. Lesson learned

Working out your ideal party tent requires effective preparation and planning so guests have a great time while you enjoy peace of mind that everything will go smoothly. Here are some of the basics you need to consider.

Think about not only the number of guests in your party tent but how they will be accommodated and what they will be doing while there. Some questions to ask yourself are:

How many guests will need seating?

Will seating be required for relaxation or dining, or both?

Will there be dancing?

For me I was fortunate to find all the advice I needed at Party Tents For Sale

The only way I would go fishing without polarized sunglasses is if I was fishing at night. Because the glare from light off water is just almost unbearable I can’t imagine using plain tinted shades. I bought my polarized sunglasses at a fishing shop but I might get some brand name ones that have scratch coating and probably better optics. The ones I’m thinking about are the Maui Jims. They have hydrophobic coatings that help repel water so in a way it’s similar to how water runs off a waxed car. I’m sure there’s more to the technology that what wax does for your car though. Also, these sunglasses apparently have a mirror coating in the upper part of the lens and then the lower part. That’s supposed to further reduce reflections from above and below. Hope that helps.

If you have decided on using synthetic Insect Repellents, attention really must be taken to minimize the danger brought to life by exposure to the chemical. This can be done by scaling down just how long the protection is going to be required, for instance by sleeping within tight insect nets, and also by performing alternative activities under netting whenever you can. It’s also possible to reduce the area on your skin which has to be treated by getting hold of good quality Permethrin covered clothing. This really is, the truth is, among the first things you need to do.

Before I ever choose anything I always like to take a lot of advice because I think it is better to take time before you purchase and make sure that you’re getting something that is of high-quality and good value. A few months ago I decided I wanted to buy a new tent and so I spent a long time doing research online and also got some advice from a friend as to which she thought was the Best Family Camping Tent available. In the end I bought a larger family tent and I am really pleased with the way things have turned out.

Individuals who are more than likely to go with frame tents are the type who have been camping out for many years, and who understand how to rapidly set up this sort of Pop Up Tents. A skilled recreational camper might have numerous happy memories in the older tent, and is probably not prepared to give it up at this time. If this sounds like you, go ahead and make the most use as you are able to from something that is simple to work with because of familiarity. You will be more comfortable and it will be easier for you in the long run.

If you are looking for cheap camping gear, then it makes sense to find the types that are best suited for you. You’ll love how great it is when you can get ready for a trip without spending a lot of money. The first thing that you need to find is a good sleeping bag. If you have two people, then get the double type rather than investing in two separate ones. If you are in need of a very large tent, then you need to make sure that you split those costs with other people that are going on the trip.

In some countries mosquitoes carry the lethal parasite known as malaria. If you are camping in a country where you are not aware of any mosquito diseases then it would be wise to check before you start your journey there. To combat mosquitoes, citronella oil is a good repellent. You can either get citronella oil to burn in your camping lantern or citronella candles to keep them at bay. What I find is good that you can purchase citronella spray which you apply to you exposed parts of the body. If you regularly apply this throughout the day you should be enough to repel those annoying mosquitoes.

If you want the freedom to hike and carry your tent over all sorts of rough terrain then a specific backpacking tent is for you. Some are so light they weigh just less than four pounds. This is easily manageable for a hiker or a cyclist. The good thing is that it can sleep two in a good amount of reasonable comfort. Beware though they can feel exposed in downpours and rough weather conditions, and they have to be pegged down well in the event of a downpour.

Condensation in a small tent can be a big problem, let’s face it you are more likely to brush against the walls of a small tent where condensation collects compared to a family tent. That why it is important that if you are looking to purchase a backpacking tent that it has plenty of ventilation to reduce this annoying problem.

I really love to go camping, because as far as I am concerned there really is nothing better than spending time in the fresh air and being able to walk through beautiful countryside and scenery, especially when the weather is very good. But one thing I do not like about camping is the fact that putting the tent up can take quite a lot of time, and it was due to this reason that I took a look at Quick Pop-Up Tents. These really do make the job of putting up the tent very easy indeed, and also extremely quickly as well. I think they are a great invention.
