A solid decision

Posted by Ariana,

I always like to get as much information as I can, because when I make a decision I’d like to be able to do it with confidence and then I know I am making the right choice. This is particularly important when you come to choose a career, because this is a decision which can affect the rest of your life, and so when I took a look at a nursing career one of the best things I did was read a CNA Training Manual because I learned so much I really knew what I was talking about. This was a lot of research to carry out but it really was worth it in the end and I am really glad I did it.

If you are already a graduate of certain profession that has nothing to do with nursing, then you can enroll for an accelerated nursing degree. Instead of taking the full course, you would only need a minimum of 2 years to finish the course. However, it can get to as much as 3 years because you still need to take chemistry, biology, microbiology, nutrition, as well as anatomy and physiology. If you are already working as an LPN, you can finish the course in 1 full year. Well, nursing is a tough job and unless you invest some of your time to learn it, you will never be successful in this career.

I love being an actor. No, you do not really know who I am because I do small commercials ans work in theater. Theater does not get as much press as TV or film, but it is a great way to make a living for me. Sure, you do not make nearly as much money as you would were to attend Acting Colleges and strike it big on a TV show, but it pays the bills. I love living in New York too. There is just something about the city that gives it more soul than Los Angeles in my opinion.

I am a high school teacher and I am teaching a class on technical schools. It is for ninth graders. I ask the kids to give me Technical Skills Examples. I expect a list of them. They need to define them and give me types and cases for each definition. The ideas will help them with their future. Many kids are thrilled to discover that there is a choice besides the traditional college format. Not all of them want to go to a four year school, they would rather learn an interpersonal skill and then get out into the real world.

I have discovered that there is a lot of information out there. I have been doing some research on Home Inspection Online Courses. I am interested in distance learning because I do not like a regular classroom. With distance education I can also work around my work schedule. I might like to become a real estate professional and live in a condo. There are also other degrees that I am considering. I could learn to do an appraisal or even a termite inspection for a building. The Internet has made it so that the possibilities are as big as my dreams.

Emergency department jobs have changed significantly through the years. Rewind more than a one hundred years, and you will notice that all medical practices were lumped with each other into one incorporated whole. There was clearly no independent or specific emergency program, and many types of emergencies were handled by whichever medical personnel were accessible right at that moment. Progressively, as hospitals increased in space and the amount of patients was higher, it became an apparent development to have an expert employed just to cope with emergency patients. This allowed people to focus on that one particular area, and gave patients a far more impressive range of care.

Everything has changed once again in the emergency program in the USA. Medical centers have continued to grow, which means not only can you now have devoted emergency personnel, you may also have personnel focused on one certain division of emergency treatment. This could be pediatric medicine, or toxicology, or emergency procedure inside a particular scenario. If you’re planning to learn about a career in emergency medicine, you are going to do well to learn these area of expertise. You will find there’s great demand for qualified staff members in every one of them. So, if you are interested in helping people that are in dire straights, consider getting into this line of work.

No College for Her

My daughter has decided that she does not want to attend college. She wants to take Legal Secretary Courses online. Her dad and I need to sit down this weekend and discuss this and see if it is doable. I’m not sure if they offer financial aid for distance learning. If not, we may run into a problem as we don’t have enough saved up to pay for it outright. We have four kids to put through school within a six-year period. It’s not going to be cheap and we are going to need quite a bit of financial aid to make this happen for all of them. We can’t spend it all on one child so she may have to work and help pay for this.

I was once going to be an actor. Yeah, I know, it sounded fun at the time. I gave it a pretty good run and actually landed a small part in a TV movie of the week and some short stints on Days of Our Lives. It was fun, but I did spend a lot of time at a Film And TV School. That’s okay, though. Even though I didn’t make it, I grew up a lot and learned more life lessons than I could have ever learned if I did not give it a go in the first place. Moral of the story: try and you will succeed. Maybe not as obviously or directly that you wanted to, but if you look at life as a learning experience, you will always win.

Acting teachers always say that an actor’s training should never end. They should be continuously honing their craft. These focused institutions can equip the budding actor with a toolbox of acting techniques, theory and a whole host of other important aspects of the craft that will get them started on the right foot. Very competitive and intense like Juilliard. SUNY, 40 minutes outside New York, is one of the top acting colleges in the country that requires incredible dedication. The first 2 years of your residency is considered a “trial” period, after which you may or may not be asked back. Classes typically start at 8am and end near 11pm at night on some days. Gruelling, but has one the best reputations in the U.S.
