we have our son and daughter in law visiting us from Colorado at the present time, and when they arrive it is not only compete with children a wonderful but very persistent British bulldog. By persistent they mean, she is up and down, up and down, in and out in and out all darn day long. A daily it’s enough to drive a sane person crazy, getting up to alter the patio door to let her out so she can tinkle.it got so bad today that I actually went down to our local hardware store and purchased an automatic doggy door, which I plan on spending tomorrow getting installed. The salesman assured me he it was a simple job so he better have been right, as I am not too good with my hands.

I love my garden but have never got terribly fussed over whether there’s the odd weed around, or if some tress are a bit overgrown or shrubs tangles. To me it’s all part of how a garden should look, a bit wild and tangled, and not to manicured. So when deciding on putting up some bird feeders recently I went to place like Dun-craft, Birds Are Us, etc looking for some bird feeders to blend in, everything was a bit too new and shiny looking, so I was very pleased to see a local store advertising their selection of Rustic Bird Feeders which will be a much better fit for my style of garden.

Does anyone out there agree that a labrador is the most destructive dog when it comes to chewing on furniture, walls and everything else that is chewable? It is amazing how much these dogs chew. I am not sure what to do, so I thought it may be a good idea to try some of these durable dog toys. Has anyone heard of the dazzler ducks from multipet? These toys are made of some ballistic nylon fabric. This stuff is lasts for years and years in other venues. I am not sure about it for dog toys. They are not too expensive so perhaps I will try them out.

There are so many different brands of foods for dogs in the supermarket which makes choosing very hard. Dont get carried away with the glossy packaging. Try to aviod things like corn and gluten. Look for protein rich foods because they will help keep your dog healthy. Also try to avoid anything artificial like flavours, colorings or sweeteners. The best type of food is natural. Giving you dog raw meat is healthy for them. The bones help them keep their teeth clean. Remember your dog is your best friend so dont just buy the cheapest or nicest looking box of food. Take care your dog and he will be healthier and happier. Great Dane Puppies are my favourite dogs and I always feed my dogs raw meat and bones. They cant get enough.

Doc has been my pal for about a year now.  I found him on the side of the road as a little bitty kitten.  He’s not littly bitty anymore.  I took him to the vet to get him his shots and they talked about cat health insurance as a way to help budget for his care. I have looked into it and it seems like a great idea. No more surprises when I take Doc to the vet.  Well, actually , I only had to take him one extra time and that was because he caught his paw in a fishing hook and he was howling so bad, I was afraid to pull it out and not do more damage.
