Ceiling fans are useful to homeowners practically all year but a large majority of people don’t even turn on their ceiling fans during the winter months.

By changing the ceiling fan rotation direction you can change the function of a fan from a cooling appliance to a heating tool.  

The forward direction of a fan cools down a room.  If you stand beneath a fan in the forward position you can feel the breeze blowing on your head.  Then, you can reverse the fan’s rotating direction by moving one switch on the fan base.  This way the fan will pull the warm air floating up towards the ceiling and circulate it near the ceiling level. Then the fan’s rotation will help to work the warm air back down towards the floor.

Almost all basic ceiling fans come with both forward and reverse rotation capabilities.

My mother and father live in a beautiful, older home they have owned for the past 30 years. Last night I my wife Daphne and I tried a new Peruvian Restaurant that is down in Costa Mesa. My wife’s mom is from that country and we both like that type of food very much. While we ate dinner last night we talked about our daughter and her going off to college. We also talked about the flooring solutions for our garage. My wife wanted me to find out some of the Epoxy Floor Colors out there. Her reasoning is that we might as well get a little color in the garage. This seemed like a cool idea to me.

There is a house that is for sale in our neighborhood. It has been for a long time and I think that it is because the lawn is such a mess. I think that they should hire a company with a slice seeder to come in and make it look better. The yard could also use a garden weasel. I know that if they offered it as a rental to buy that they might also be able to get someone. They should put a video of the house online to show that the inside is not as bad as the grass and the yard.

My sister suffers from yeast and mold problems. She gets a yeast type rash under her arms quite frequently when it gets hot and humid outside. She told me that she’d seen a new doctor recently and he recommended that she try a Mold Allergy Diet. The diet hopefully will help her overcome the yeast in her body and also help her with the weight loss she’s been trying to achieve for so long. The doctor gave her many meal ideas and recipes for this diet. He feels that if she takes care with her diet, this treatment will help her with her mold allergy problem. I’m anxious to learn more. She’s coming over later today to explain it to me.
