Borescopes are really worth the money. You can really keep equipment going longer and head off major repairs. While you can spend $200 or more, it is really worth the money. We have used one in our business for over 5 years and while we have only had to replace one piece of equipment, the the fracture was found early enough not to fend off major damage.
