If you are thinking about setting up a trade show for your business, you can do it without spending a lot of money. Of course, you still need to make it look professional, you just can skip necessary things. For example, you can get interlocking carpet tiles and cheap acrylic sign holders that will make the display attract a lot of people. You can also rent tables and chairs that will make everything a lot more comfortable. It will even give you a place to conduct on the spot interviews should you be interested in those. So consider getting them today.

Cheap Conference Tables

Posted by Georgiann,

One of the most important pieces of furniture in any office is going to be the conference table. As its name implies, important for conferences as well as necessary for company meetings. Many times in the past I have held small meetings with clients or large brainstorming sessions around the conference table.  One of the first things we, as a company found out about our table was that we had purchased an item of furniture that was just too small for all the types of meetings that were held upon it. We originally allowed for placing all company staff at the same table and went for some cheap conference tables and bought accordingly.

If you would have told me a couple of decades ago that there would be video conferencing hardware enabling businesses to communicate anywhere around the world using a computer I would have said you are crazy. The internet has made science fiction possible. It has also made the way of doing business much much easier and inexpensive. In the past your boss would call you in his office and send you half way across the country for at least a week in order to go to an all important meeting involving the future of the company. Now with very affordable video conferencing hardware you can now hold a meeting with as many members as you want from any part of the world. That truly is amazing…

Picnic Flyer Template

Posted by Jeannetta,

We are getting ready to put together out first office picnic. It will really be more than just an office picnic. It will be more of a customer appreciation type of picnic with employees also invited. We really need a nice picnic flyer template that we can customize for this project and others down the road. I have been doing a lot of research on the internet and there is a lot of information available. There are a lot of sales going on right now and some even offer free shipping for the CD or a free download. Now that’s a good deal!

effective presentation

Posted by Renea,

Want to deliver a more effective presentation when using slides? Here are the top ten Powerpoint presentation tips to help you deliver a more professional presentation using PowerPoint or Apple’s Keynote. Tip #1: Don’t base your presentation on the slides. People came to hear you speak, even if it is an internal business update. Use a slide to add to the information you are delivering, but don’t make the slide itself the main content. A slide is a part of your presentation, not the main focus. Tip #2: Don’t read the slides. There is never a reason for you to read any material on a slide. Your audience learned to read in the first grade of school. Don’t insult them. It is especially annoying to listeners when someone reads a quote from a slide. Your job is to comment on the material, explain it, interpret it, but never to just read it.

Not bad, eh?

The county has made it semi-official. It recently published online brochures to help attract tourists and their pocketbooks.

The four-color online brochure templates outline some of the area’s leading attractions. These range from Oneida’s Mansion House to Hamilton’s Americana Village. In between are lakes, streams, restaurants, hotels and special events.

Unlike other similar tourist promotion publications, Madison County’s doesn’t stop there. Not at all. No, Madison County’s online brochures lists banks, insurance agents, real estate firms, attorneys, physicians, contractors, mobile home parks, and a funeral home. Honest.

That may well qualify the county as one of the most eclectic tourist destinations in New York, if not all of the country. Think of it: “Visit Madison County for your funeral!” or “While on vacation in Madison County, why not have your annual physical, and shutters put on your home!
